Level Two Close Quarters Survival is designed to advance your ability to defend yourself using empty-hand techniques and deadly force. You’ll learn critical skills to overcome attacks when access to weapons is impossible, focusing on using hard and soft intermediate weapons and targeting vulnerable areas of the body for self-defense.
Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisites and Eligibility
This course requires completion of Level One Close Quarters Survival and is open to females of all ages and males 27+ with a clean criminal record and background check. If you’re ready to take your self-defense skills to the next level, this course will give you the mental and physical preparation needed to handle deadly force threats.
Two Days of Intensive Training: What to Expect
During this two-day course, you’ll refresh key tactics from Level One and learn new techniques for defending against threats. The focus will be on hard empty-hand skills, including pressure point control, firearms take-away, and advanced methods for causing serious bodily injury when facing an attacker. You will also refine your mental awareness to maintain focus under pressure.

Training Schedule: Convenient Two-Day Course
The Level Two CQS class is a two-day intensive course. Training starts at 9:00 AM each day, with a break for lunch (bring your own). Classes are held in Durango, Colorado, and will run until approximately 5:00 PM both days. Early registration is encouraged to ensure your spot.
Gear Up: What You Need for the Course
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. No prior physical conditioning is required, but you should be ready for two days of intense learning. All other materials will be provided, but remember to bring lunch and snacks for the day.
What to Expect: Requirements and Class Structure
Level Two CQS requires a minimum of four students to run. If the class doesn’t meet this number, it will be rescheduled. The course is intense, requiring full participation and mental focus, and is designed for individuals committed to mastering advanced self-defense techniques.
