Master Your Carbine Accuracy
The
Accuracy Training Carbine (ATC) course is designed to correct common accuracy issues such as low-left and low-right strikes, vertical stringing, and poor sight alignment. You will focus on proper sighting techniques, rapid follow-up shots, and enhanced shooting skills. The course is structured to help you become more precise and confident with your carbine, transitioning smoothly between carbine and handgun as needed.
Pre-Requisites & Required Gear
To get the most out of this class, students should come with a
properly zeroed firearm. We will verify or correct your zero during the session. A
good attitude and a willingness to improve are essential. You will need your
carbine,
200 rounds of ammo,
sling,
handgun, and
practice ammunition. Please ensure you bring the necessary gear to meet the course's requirements.

The
Accuracy Training Carbine class is designed to provide you with the time you need to improve. You will fire
200 rounds (approximately
4 hours) until you are satisfied with your progress.
Red Dawn Range in Ignacio, CO, offers a fantastic environment for learning. We will work at your pace to ensure your precision improves, whether you’re a beginner or experienced shooter.
Master Drills for Improved Accuracy
You’ll learn essential drills designed to correct
sighting errors, increase your
follow-up shot speed, and improve your
target engagement. The course includes practical exercises such as
controlled pairs,
double taps,
using a sling, and transitioning from
carbine to pistol. You'll also learn techniques for
combat mindset and handling pressure during shooting, helping to reduce stress under critical conditions.
Enrollment & Payment Instructions
The course fee for Accuracy Training Carbine is $150, covering all class materials and range maintenance. Enrollment can be completed by sending a check to PO Box 3956, Durango, CO 81302. We encourage early registration as late payments must be arranged in advance. If you cannot attend, a 20% refund will be offered.
