2025 Firearms Training Schedule: Elevate Your Skills with Expert-Led Courses
Introduction to BDP/CCW
The Basic Defensive Pistol/Concealed Carry Weapons (BDP/CCW) course goes beyond Colorado’s CCW requirements, offering critical defensive firearm training. Ideal for those considering using a firearm for self-defense, this course prepares you for real-life situations.

Range operations occur on Saturday at Red Dawn Range, beginning at 9:00 AM. The course is designed for flexibility, with payment terms available and discounted rates for those with prior CCW certification.

You’ll gain the confidence and skills necessary to protect yourself and others if the need arises.
Payment Information & Enrollment Process
To enroll, simply send your payment by the Monday before the class. If for any reason you cannot attend, you’ll receive a 20% refund. We offer flexible payment options, loan firearms for class use, and are willing to work with you on late registration or payment arrangements.
Class Schedule & Requirements
The class meets from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a Saturday range session. You’ll need your own firearm (no ammunition in the classroom) and hearing/eye protection. The Thursday class will include physical retention drills, so wear comfortable clothing.
Note: Minimum class size of 6 students, otherwise rescheduled.
Equipment You’ll Need
To participate, bring your handgun, ammunition, hearing protection, and eye protection. Ensure you dress appropriately for the weather, as we’ll be outside during range training. Sunscreen and bug repellent are recommended for the outdoor sessions. We also offer firearm loans for those without their own.
Course Completion & Certification
