Accuracy Training Pistol (ATP) is designed to enhance your precision, helping you correct common shooting errors such as low-left, low-right, and stringing of shots. This course teaches techniques to improve your sighting, eye dominance, and shooting fundamentals, while also introducing speed drills for controlled pairs and the double tap. If you're looking to boost your shooting accuracy, this class will guide you every step of the way.
Course Fee & Payment Details
The class fee for Accuracy Training Pistol is $150, which covers class prep, range maintenance, and instructor time. Enrollment is secured upon receipt of payment, which must be received by the Monday before the class. Checks should be made payable to E.T. Gwynn and mailed to PO Box 3956, Durango, CO 81302. A 20% refund will be issued for cancellations made in advance. We also accommodate schedule changes, so don't hesitate to reach out.
Class Schedule & Location
Accuracy Training Pistol takes place at
Red Dawn Range, Durango, Colorado. The class runs until you are satisfied with your improvement or after firing 200 rounds, typically taking around 4 hours. The schedule is flexible, ensuring you can train at your own pace while getting personalized instruction. Contact us for available class dates and times.
What to Bring

- Your handgun (loaner firearms available if needed)
- 200 rounds of ammunition (guidance on ammo selection available)
- Holster (preferably the one you use for concealed or on-body carry)

Prerequisites & Eligibility
This course is open to all students with a good attitude and a desire to improve their shooting accuracy. Safe gun handling practices will be provided as needed. There are no specific prior experience requirements, making this an excellent class for beginners or those looking to fine-tune their existing skills.
