Ladies Day: A Safe, Fun Introduction to Firearms
Overview of Ladies Day
Ladies Day is a non-threatening, women-only event designed to introduce women and girls to firearms. It’s an opportunity to familiarize yourself with handguns in a comfortable, safe environment, free from the stress of mixed-gender groups. Held at the Durango Gun Club, the day provides a fun introduction to firearms and safety.
Class Schedule & Details
Ladies Day is typically held twice a year, in late summer and fall, at the Durango Gun Club Range. The event lasts about 2 hours, with no obligation to stay the entire time. Exact dates are to be determined, but registration is open, and you can schedule your participation with ample notice.
Cost & Donations
Ladies Day is completely free to attend. However, donations to the Durango Gun Club are appreciated and help support the facility. We aim to make this event accessible to all women, so come and learn without the concern of fees.
Equipment & More Info
Bring your own firearms and ammunition if you have them. If needed, loaners are available with sufficient notice. The event is conducted under the supervision of experienced instructors to ensure safety and provide guidance throughout the day. For more information, contact Tim Gwynn at 970-749-3296.
